Easter 2011

We had a fairly low-key Easter this year...mostly because Charlotte and Jensen's first birthday party was the Saturday before, and since I was so busy with that, Easter just kind of snuck up on me! The four of us woke up, tried to reassemble our house from the previous day's birthday party madness, and then headed to Brian's parents house to spend some time with grandparents, cousins, aunts and uncles, and great-grandparents.

Brian's sister Holly organized a little Easter egg hunt for the kiddos, and Charlotte and Jensen were happy to join in the fun. They did some serious hunting for eggs...and by that I mean they crawled around the yard and happened to stumble upon an egg every once in awhile.

Charlotte acted like a perfect little lady...

Jensen, on the other hand, acted like...well, like Jensen. Brian and I weren't paying attention for a second (I know, excellent parenting!) and when we turned around we found this:

Nope, it sure didn't take him long to figure out what you're supposed to do with Easter eggs! He cracked them right open and went to town on the candy inside! What a lil' stinker...he got his cute Easter outfit quite filthy but sure did look cute chowing down.
At least he kept his little ankles crossed politely!

Yummy!

Really yummy!

All gone!
It would appear that a certain little someone has a sweet tooth (like his mama!).
